Installation of a 298.8 kWp photovoltaic system

The project carried out at Motortecnica S.r.l. is the first in a series of projects planned as part of the collaboration with Nidec S.p.A., aimed at supporting the Group in a structured effort to reduce energy consumption and progressively decarbonize its industrial operations.
As part of this initiative, a 298.8 kWp photovoltaic system was installed, with an expected annual output of approximately 349,000 kWh. The project contributes significantly to increasing the site’s self-generated energy and is part of the Nidec Group’s broader strategic plan, which focuses on energy efficiency and sustainability.
The project was carried out while ensuring full operational continuity at the production site, with no disruption to business operations during any phase of the project.
Particular attention was paid to managing the technical complexities associated with the limited availability of roof space and the complex configuration of the surfaces. The installation was optimized to maximize the system’s performance while ensuring compliance with the highest safety standards for work at heights.
