Milan, March 20 (Adnkronos) – A 350 Kwp photovoltaic system has been activated at the Industrie Chimiche Forestali plant in Marcallo con Casone (Milan) and an electric charging station for company vehicles has been put into operation. To build the plant, Icf, Industrie Chimiche Forestali – a leading national and international company in the design, production, and marketing of high-tech adhesives and fabrics, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market of the Italian Stock Exchange – turned to Samso, an E.S.Co company specializing in energy efficiency projects. <\/p>\n
The system uses 777 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules with a power output of 460 kWp, installed on the roof of the production plant, and meets approximately 30% of the Company’s energy needs, generating an annual reduction in emissions equivalent to 75 tons of oil (75 TOE) with a decrease of 163 tons of CO2 per year. This intervention is comparable to planting approximately 1,500 trees around the plant. \u201cThis plant,\u201d commented Igor Bovo, CEO of Samso, \u201cwill produce completely green energy that Industrie Chimiche Forestali will use for its own consumption and return to the national grid. It is a concrete contribution to sustainable industrial production, to reducing environmental impact while respecting the integrity of our planet, and also a duty to the new generations to whom we must return a livable world.\u201d <\/p>\n
