Vigano di Gaggiano (MI) – Cosmet S.r.l., a company specializing in integrated logistics solutions, has chosen Samso S.p.A. as its partner for a major energy transition project, combining innovation, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
A turnkey solution for energy efficiency
The project, carried out at the headquarters in Via Europa 44 in Vigano di Gaggiano, stems from the need to reduce energy costs and improve the environmental impact of production activities. A further objective was the removal of asbestos from the roofs of company buildings, transforming a structural requirement into an opportunity for sustainable growth.
Samso has built a 364 kWp photovoltaic system in ESCO (Energy Service Company) mode, providing a complete turnkey solution: consumption analysis, design, installation, and ongoing management of the system. The project included the renovation of the roofing and the installation of advanced monitoring and maintenance systems.
Concrete and measurable results
Thanks to the new plant, Cosmet will be able to produce 13.3 GWh of renewable energy over the lifetime of the project, with a reduction of over 5,600 tons of CO₂ equivalent, according to ISPRA and GSE data. The estimated total savings exceed €500,000, ensuring long-lasting benefits.
“This project represents a decisive step in our journey towards sustainability. We have improved energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact, limiting initial financial commitments and transforming asbestos removal into a strategic opportunity for the future.”
— Stefano Vaccari, CEO – Cosmet Srl
