Samso Spa supported Industrie Chimiche Forestali in the construction of a 460 kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the production plant in Marcallo con Casone (MI).
The project involved the installation of 777 monocrystalline silicon modules, integrated into the roof of the building without interrupting production activities.
The energy generated is used for self-consumption to power industrial processes and the charging station for company electric vehicles, contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and the optimisation of operating costs.
ICF aimed to reduce energy costs and environmental impact while maintaining production continuity and without heavy initial investments.
In an energy-intensive sector such as chemicals, finding a solution that was both sustainable and competitive was a strategic objective.
Samso carried out the project in E.S.Co. mode, financing the intervention and guaranteeing the company renewable energy without having to tie up capital, transforming an energy cost into an opportunity for efficiency.
